Meet Our Dogs

Abbi is the last of our English bloodlines, as she is a standard F1 English Goldendoodle. She was one of our puppies that we raised here at Island Grove Kennels. She is the daughter of our late poodle, George. She comes from champion bloodlines and proves herself to be just as loyal as her dad. She has a more curly coat for an F1 Goldendoodle, so we expect her puppies to have more curl, too. Abbi is very smart! She can open any gate we have on the farm and has caught onto new things quickly. She is a very active girl and loves to explore. She is amazing with children and other dogs. Her favorite thing to do is to swim in the pond and play fetch. Abbi is mom to some of our F1b Mini Goldendoodles and will also have litters of F1b standard Goldendoodles. Her puppies are known to be just as smart as her with her bubbly personality.

Bailey is one of our AKC Golden Retriever moms. Bailey is everything you imagine when you think of a golden retriever. She is active, agile, loyal, and a family-friendly girl. She loves kids and being the center of attention. She is very smart and catches onto new things quickly. We love her composition and look forward to seeing her traits in her current and upcoming litters. Bailey is going to be mom to our AKC Golden Retriever puppies.

Betty is our youngest AKC Bernese Mountain Dog. Betty is special to us because her mom is sisters with our BMD mom, Grace. Betty has a lot of the same qualities as Grace. She is a wide bernese with a calm and gentle personality. She is very smart and always brightens our day. We plan for her to be mom to our F1 Bernedoodles.

Dolley is one of our young AKC Golden Retrievers. She is our ray of sunshine. She is a happy go lucky girl who has a laid-back personality. She is very loyal, sweet, and gentle with children. She spends most of her time running around the farm with her best friend Kimber. She loves to swim, and to play with her toys. Dolley turned two in the fall of 2023 and we can’t wait for her upcoming litters.

Grace is one of our AKC Bernese Mountain Dog moms. Grace is exactly what we look for when choosing a BMD to add to our family. She has excellent hips and beautiful formation. She has a very stocky build which we love to see in our BMDs. Grace has an easy going personality and doesn’t know a stranger. She is a gentle giant who loves to give hugs, but doesn’t realize her size. She is mom to our purebred Bernese Mountain Dog puppies and our standard Bernedoodles.

Lincoln is our standard F1 Bernedoodle mom.. She resides full time with Ryan, Kristine and the kids because she is the perfect calm to all the chaos. Lincoln is tri-color, phantom Bernedoodle that has more of a wavy to straight coat. She has a gentle soul and is a natural therapy dog. We love how she is very attentive to her humans, and how gentle she is with children. She produces small, but beautiful litters of F1b Bernedoodle puppies.

Lucy is our F1 Mini Bernedoodle. She resides full-time with her guardian family, but lives close by so she can visit whenever she wants. Lucy has a very laid-back personality but loves to play with her sister. Lucy also enjoys her days spent on the lake soaking up the sun. Not only is Lucy special because of her temperament, but she has a beautiful chocolate coat that we love to see pop in her puppies. Lucy is mom to our F1b Micro Bernedoodles puppies.

Lyndon is one of our AKC Bernese Mountain Dog moms. She is our more reserved girl who loves her people but isn’t sure about strangers. She is amazing with other dogs and is so gentle around children. She loves to spend time with her sister, Ruth. They enjoy running the farm together and dipping their feet in the pond. Lyndon has great hips for a BMD so she is mom to our Standard F1 Bernedoodle litters.

Madi is our smallest F1 Mini Goldendoodle mom. She resides full time with her guardian family and visits from time to time. Madi’s mom is our retired English Golden Retriever, Quincy. Madi is apricot in color and has a more wavy coat. Madi is the sweetest girl. She loves to go on walks and her special treats. Her favorite thing to do is spend time with her brother, Mac, the bernedoodle. She is really gentle and patient around children, gets along with other dogs, and is a people lover. Madi is mom to our F1b Micro Goldendoodles.

Oakley is one of our upcoming AKC Bernese Mountain Dog moms. Oakley is our goofy girl who lights up any room she is in. She is always happy and up for any adventure. Oakley and her best friend Lou spend the day exploring and playing on the farm. Oakley’s favorite thing is to have her belly rubbed, and for the longest time, everytime someone would pet her, she would immediately roll over so they could rub her belly. We love Oakley’s personality and she recently passed her PennHip testing with an excellent score! She will welcome her first litter in 2023.

Patsy is our F1 Merle Goldendoodle. She is our first Merle bloodline, and we have big plans for her. She has a beautiful gray and black, wavy coat. Patsy is very goofy, loves being the center of attention and is our social butterfly. She loves being around people, and loves her one on one time with us. She also loves to run around the farm and to play in the pond with her friends.  Patsy will be mom to our F1b Mini and Standard Merle Goldendoodles. She will start breeding in fall of 2023. 

Remi is one of our AKC Golden Retriever moms. She has golden retriever and goldendoodle litters. We love Remi for her personality. She is a very laid-back lady. Her favorite things to do are laying under a shade tree or cuddled up next to one of us. She has passed her demeanor to many of her puppies, and we enjoy seeing so much of her in them. Kimber is an upcoming Golden Retriever momma, and she is daughter to Remi.
