💖 Penelope is such a sweetheart! She is a little more laidback of the two and enjoys being around people. She is always ready to play and knows how to be independent.

💜 Daphne is looking for a best friend! She is very attentive and would love someone to cuddle up with. Daphne loves meeting new people and is very social. We know she will do great one-on-one or in a big family!

They are both beautiful girls who do great with kiddos! They are picking up on training very easily and we know they are going to make the perfect companions. These girls will be 15-25 lbs full-grown, are already microchipped and vet-checked, and have been socialized to different sights, sounds, textures, and people.

IGK History is in the making! We are so excited to announce that Grace and Lux are going to be our FIRST Bernese Mountain Dog litter.

Grace is a classic Bernese Mountain Dog. She is big and beautiful with a wide frame. She is so gentle and loving to everyone she meets. She loves her people and very loyal. She loves kids, other dogs and leaves chickens alone. 😉 She loves to give hugs if you let her. She doesn’t like to roam far from home. You will find her resting in her favorite shaded spots on the farm.

Lux is an external stud from Bernese Boutique! Lux is a gentle giant. He weighs over 115 pounds but is the biggest teddy bear you will ever know. He does not know a stranger and loves saying hello to everyone he meets. He is very gentle with kids and loves being around them. He has many titles for service. He is the sweetest Bernese we have ever met!

You are in luck! 🍀 Sometimes at Island Grove Kennels, we have adult dogs available!🤩

At Island Grove Kennels we do genetic testing as well as joint testing on our dogs before selecting them for our breeding program. Not all of them meet our expectations for breeding. If possible, we try to find them guardian homes that will give them one on one attention and training. ❤️

Nixon did not meet our expectations on his hip testing. 🥲 He is healthy and has good hips, they are just not good enough to be a dad to our puppies. With that said, Nixon is looking for a family to love him! He is smart, loves kids and other dogs, plays well with others, and is friends with everyone he meets. Nixon is almost two years old. He is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and comes from health tested parents. He is trained to sit, stay, lay, and walks on a leash. He is trained to a doggie door but not house trained. We think with a little work, he would house train quickly.
